Ayan Movie Review:
Ayan is one movie that, according to me, shows its best within the first 15 minutes, only to fizzle out as the story proceeds.

The movie begins by showing Suriya aka Deva as a wealthy and well-educated traveller ( who criticizes corporates) only to find his English to be replaced with Madras slang and his true profession revealed when he leaves the airport. Suriya is a smuggler working for Prabhu (Doss)and in this intro scene, he is seen smuggling pirated copy of a diwali release.

In the next few scenes the villain emerges. Akashdeep Segal (Kamalesh), son of a friendly rival of Prabhu’s gang wants to depart from the friendly ways and establish himself as the numero uno. Segal informs the police about the piracy and Suriya and gang have a close escape.

Watch Arundhati Movie Online Review:

The story begins with Jejamma (Anushka) who rules the Gadwal area many years ago and true to her title, she is brave, kind and very warm to her people. However, there is a evil in her home in the form of her own brother in law (Sonu Sood) who is a major womanizer and does not even hesitate to sleep with women in front of his wife.

Unable to bear the torture and humiliation, Jejamma's sister commits suicide and enraged by his wrongdoings, Jejamma gets him beaten to death and leaves him in the jungle. However, the revenge element in him keeps the spirit awake and he is rescued by the Agora sadhus. There, he learns all the black magic and becomes a powerful dark lord.

He comes back to take revenge on Jejamma by having her physically but then she succeeds in trapping him and buries him alive, she builds a divine wall using amulets and yantras. Times change and the present day comes with Arundhati (Anushka) being considered the reincarnation of Jejamma. She is due to get married but then the evil sorcerer begins to use his charms and spells to break free from the live burial. Finally, he succeeds and comes to Arundhati to have her. She is helped in fighting him off by Anwar (Sayaji Shinde), the Muslim fakir. However, that is not enough since the villain is too powerful. Is Arundhati successful in killing the black magician?
